A man was rescued from the roof of a building in Boscombe town centre on Saturday morning.
Police have confirmed a man was brought to safety two hours after they were alerted to the incident in Christchurch Road.
Part of Boscombe shopping precinct was cordoned off while the incident was dealt with.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 7.06am raising concern for the wellfare of a man on the roof of a building in Christchurch Road in Boscombe.
"Officers have attended and made attempts to engage with the man.
"A cordon was put in place as a precaution and the man was brought to safety."
Police thanked members of the public for their patience and understanding while the incident was dealt with.
The incident was dealt with by 9am.
