BILL Foley's takeover of Cherries is nearing completion, with a deal agreed by both the buyer and seller, current owner Maxim Demin, the Daily Echo understands.
The Athletic report the deal to be worth £120 million, which will not be approved by the Premier League until the relevant documentation has been submitted.
It is understood that this documentation will be submitted early next week, with a potential timeframe of within the next month until the takeover is ratified by the Premier League.
Foley, who owns the NHL side Vegas Golden Knights, is in attendance at Cherries' fixture with Leicester City this afternoon (kick-off 3pm).
Interim boss Gary O'Neil remains in the charge of the clash, with Cherries yet to appoint a new boss following the departure of Scott Parker in August.
Demin has owned shares in Cherries since 2011, helping the side reach the Premier League from League One.
The club had reportedly been on sale since the club's second promotion to the top-flight this summer, but despite the possibility of a takeover, Demin pushed through with restarting works on their training ground complex at Canford Arena.
