A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences after officers found a quantity of growing cannabis at a property.
On Thursday, October 6, officers from the Poole Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) arrested a male in the Branksome Dene area on suspicion of cultivating cannabis, contrary to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
Pictures released by police from the scene show what appears to be cannabis plants growing with the aid of solar panels.

A Poole Police spokesperson said: “Through partnership-led intelligence we were able to locate the individual and seize a quantity of plants and drug paraphernalia.
“He is now helping officers with their investigation.
“It is illegal to take, carry, make, sell, deal or share cannabis and it is one of many Class B drugs.”
