POLICE are keen to speak with a woman in north Dorset after a series of distraction thefts in the town.
Elderly people in Shaftesbury have been victims of distraction thefts after being asked for bogus charity donations.
Officers are keen to speak with a woman who they believe is working with another younger woman.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Please be aware they visit market towns when they are busy and will hover around banks. If seen please call 999, quoting the crime reference number 55220155483.”
