Poole High Street has seen many changes over years.

This postcard of the High Street shows the area which has seen some of the most changes over the years.

The shops to the right were demolished to make way for the Arndale shopping centre and 30 years later the Dolphin Hotel was also demolished to make way for the Falkland Square development.
