PUMPKINS galore will be on offer when a popular picking patch opens its doors to the public this weekend.
The Picking Patch in Fordingbridge will welcome visitors every weekend from Saturday, October 8, and all week during the half term holidays.
The patch will have more than 20 varieties of pumpkins for people to choose from.
Varieties include the quirkily named ‘polar bear’, ‘goosebump’ and the ‘munchkin’.

The patch was founded by Niall Smith and Suzanne Henneken four years.
They are preparing to open their field gates beside the A338 at Bickton to welcome visitors to the twenty-acre site.
Suzanne Henneken said: “It has been a determination of ours to create a positive and happy environment for people to step outdoor and enjoy time together with friends and family in the fresh air.”
There’s also a spooky Halloween Maize Maze on offer for the brave who like ‘ghostly tales of olde’.
Visitors wishing to walk through the 2k Halloween Maize Maze need to book their place as numbers are limited. The maze runs each weekend and during half term.
There’s also an “extra spooky” Twilight Maze for the brave which runs on October 15 and 22 between 6pm and 8pm.
There is free parking and entry to the pumpkin fields.
Visitors are advised to wear suitable footwear and waterproof clothing and take a cardboard in which to take the pumpkins home.
