THE Mayor of Christchurch has cut the ribbon to the town’s newest charity shop.
Prama, a charity helping people enjoy life as they age, has opened their newest shop in Christchurch high street.
The opening day on September 26 saw Prama’s directors and trustees gather to celebrate what will be their ninth charity shop in dorset.
The day began with the Town Crier of Christchurch Jonny Rayner proclaiming the news of the opening, before the Mayor of Christchurch Cllr Mrs Avril Coulton cut the ribbon to let customers in.
Aaron Head, Prama’s retail operations and ecommerce manager said: “It’s great to be opening another Charity Shop and brining our fixed pricing to Christchurch. We love a bargain, and we know the customers do too!
"Since we have dropped our pricing down, we are finding people are buying more especially with the high cost of living and energy prices this winter we want to help where we can.
"Don’t miss a bargain."
Prama in Christchurch is open Monday to Saturday from 9.30am-4.30pm.
