A CCTV image has been released following a burglary at a store in north Dorset.

A man entered Dorset Tech in High Street in Gillingham and stole cash from the till at around 8.25pm on Saturday, August 6.

Police have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify as part of their investigation.

Police Community Support Investigator Kayleigh Hole, of North Dorset police, said: “Our investigation is continuing and a number of enquiries are being carried out to identify the man involved.

“I am now issuing a CCTV image of the suspect and, while I appreciate that his face is covered, I hope the image may help jog someone’s memory if they have seen any suspicious activity in the area.”
