THE owners of a Bournemouth restaurant have waved goodbye to their popular eatery.

Zorbas Greek restaurant has closed its doors after owners failed to reach an agreement with the venue’s landlord.

It is not yet known if the business will be taken over by new owners.

Joseph Poles, who took over Zorbas in March 2018, said it was an ‘emotional’ goodbye for him and his family.

Joseph said: “We built up a lot of customers there. They like us as a family, a restaurant, and for our food.

“It’s emotional because we worked very hard. You can see how hard we worked from the reviews.

The post said: “We regret that we are no longer trading at Zorbas restaurant as we worked very hard since march 2018 we came to the end as no deal agreement with landlord.

“We would like to thank you all for great support and appreciate your visit and enjoy our food.
