OFFICERS searching for a missing man who was last seen in Bournemouth are appealing for help and information from the public to find him.

Craig Hughes, aged 38, was last in contact with family on Monday, September 5 and was seen outside The Moon in the Square in Exeter Road.

Following enquiries, it is believed that Craig was seen in the Southbourne area on Monday, September 12.

Craig is described as white, five feet 11 inches tall and of slim build with dark greying hair. He usually wears tracksuit bottoms and trainers.

Inspector Jon Wasey, of Dorset Police, said: “It is unusual for Craig not to be in contact with his family and we are becoming concerned for his welfare.

“Craig is known to sleep rough in Bournemouth, but he has not been seen for a number of days now.

“I would ask anyone who has seen Craig, or a man matching the description given, to please get in touch.

“Finally, I would like to appeal directly to you Craig, if you see this appeal please make contact with us or your family as we all just want to ensure you are safe and well.”
