ORGANIX, the Bournemouth-based maker of healthy food for babies and toddlers, has a new boss.

Organix Brands Ltd announced Matt Goddard as its new managing director.

He joined in August 2021 as sales director, after nearly 20 years of experience heading blue-chip and SME business operations, the company said.

He takes over from Mark Golder, who left the business earlier this year to lead European expansion for an American-based food business.

Mr Goddard said: “Organix has been at the forefront of baby and toddler nutrition for the last 30 years and is committed to supporting parents with tasty organic foods and snacks. This passion and desire to always do the right thing for people and planet is incredibly inspiring and as a parent myself, I’m hugely proud of the work we do at Organix.

“This year has been a fantastic year so far and I’m really excited about continuing my journey and taking on this new leadership role within the business. I look forward to working closely with the Organix family and parents to help spark a love of great food from an early age.”

Organix has seen three consecutive years of growth and expanded into new categories in its 30th anniversary year this year.  It has added baby meals and kids’ snack ranges and upgraded existing product lines including Rice Cake Clouds.

Headquartered in Commercial Road, Bournemouth, Organix was founded in by in Christchurch by Lizzie Vann in 1992 was bought by the international Hero Group in 2008.

Mr Goddard will report to Jim Frandsen, general manager for North Europe at the Hero Group.
