A key road in north Dorset is closed following a crash between a car and a mobility scooter.
The B3081 is closed in both directions between the West Bourton turn off and Cocklington turn off.
Emergency services, including police, fire and ambulance crews are all in attendance.
Police received reports of the crash at 11.22am.
Heavy traffic is being reported with traffic affected from West Bourton towards Gillingham.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We were called at 11.12am on Wednesday 21 September 2022 to a report of a collision involving a car and a mobility scooter on the B3081 near Gillingham.
"Officers are in attendance with the fire and ambulance services. The road is currently closed."
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to the B3081 West Bourton Road in Gillingham at 11.15am following a collision between a car and a mobility scooter.
"Two crews attended, from Gillingham and Wincanton, and firefighters helped with casualty care for the two people involved prior to the arrival of the ambulance service. Our stop was at 12.27pm."
