HOW deeply sad. And how uplifting.
With piper bands to Westminster Abbey, soaring “God Save the King” in the Abbey, I would think very few dry eyes in the country.
How proud to be British. Share what is best of Britain with the world.
The young military men and women in the bearer party and cortège I would think bursting with pride.
On display the greatness of our civilisation.
We can but hope this enormous world event will carry though in coming months and years into all our relationships in the world.
Honour, respect, all the good qualities of people brought into one in the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth.
To quote Shakespeare: “They are not great who are not greatly good.”
Rest in peace your majesty Queen Elizabeth.
