A MOTORCYCLIST in Poole was taken to hospital with serious injuries on Monday after a crash with a car. 

Officers were called to reports of a collision on the A35 near Bakers Arms Roundabout in Upton, Poole on Monday, September 12 at 3.42pm. 

Police officers attended the scene along with the ambulance service and the motorbike rider was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries. 

One lane of the A35 was closed as police dealt with the incident.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We were called at 3.42pm on Monday 12 September 2022 to a report of a collision involving a car and a motorbike on the A35 near the Bakers Arms roundabout in Upton, Poole.  

“Officers attended with the ambulance service. One lane was closed. Local authority made aware due to fluid on the road.  

“The rider of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.”
