“SEVERE congestion” is building up around Poole and Hamworthy as SSE dig up a road to replace a cable.
Temporary lights have been installed at the junction of Dawkins Road and Blandford Road so engineers can repair a fix a cable fault.
Morebus is reporting the number 60 route at 9.10am will not run as a result of the heavy delays.
The temporary traffic lights are expected to be removed by the end of the day on Thursday, September 15.

A spokesperson for SSE said: “Temporary traffic lights have been installed at the junction of Dawkins and Blandford Roads to allow engineers to repair a cable fault.
“The work requires excavation of the road and replacement cable to be laid. Teams have been working late into the night to ensure these works are completed as safely and swiftly as possible.
“Traffic lights are due to be removed by the end of the day on Thursday 15th September. No customers have been taken off supply as a result of these works.
“Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks would like to apologise for any drivers or customers who have been inconvenienced by these works.”
