MOTORISTS told to expect disruption on the roads today as an oversized load makes its way from Portland to Poole.
Police will be assisting in the movement which will be going through Weymouth and travelling on the A35.
Drivers are being asked to stop as the load passes and to expect disruption.
A spokesman for Dorset Traffic Cops said: "We're about to assist in the movement of this oversized load from Portland to Poole via Weymouth and the A35 as we are legally obliged to do.
"There will be disruption on the way as we ask the public to stop as the load passes.
"Thanks for your patience."
