A CYCLIST was taken to hospital following a crash involving a car and a bike.
The collision happened at the junction of Prince of Wales Road and Surrey Road in Westbourne on Saturday morning at around 9am.
The male cyclist’s injuries were not believed to be serious.
Police attended the incident along with the ambulance service.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “We received a report at 8.58am on Saturday 10 September 2022 of a collision at the junction of Prince of Wales Road and Surrey Road involving a car and a bicycle.
“Officers attended, along with the ambulance service, and the male cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be serious.
“Officers left the scene shortly before 10am.”
