HM Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain and Northern Ireland has passed at the age of ninety-six.

Long Live the King.

It is so upsetting. Our whole national identity going back to 1952. Our impeccable Queen Elizabeth for seventy years.

Always the warm smile. Always the warmth and courtesy. Always the Royal dignity.

Can there be anyone else in the world who so many world leaders have been so proud and privileged to have met from the Kennedys in early 1960s – The Queen and the US First Lady so radiant – to Michael Gorbachev, Vladimir Putin, Pope Francis, Donald Trump, and many more.

All the turmoil in the world Queen Elizabeth a unique global figure of stability and respect.

One of the few figures in the world who lived a life of peace and good will to all men and women. As we saw and heard in so many Christmas Day messages to the world.

I very much hope now in the coming weeks and months respect for all will prevail.

The Queen’s family as all families is not perfect.

I hope our national media will keep this in mind and in the name of Queen Elizabeth show respect to all her family members.

And our new King personally I could not thank him more for his work on environment and climate over decades.

As King no doubt and its good to think he will continue his good work.

We need leadership. Thank you Queen Elizabeth.

Thank you King Charles.
