FIREFIGHTERS removed a door from a car in order to free a casualty trapped inside the vehicle following a crash.
Crews were called to the two-vehicle crash at 4.49pm on Tuesday, September 6, in Sherborne.
One person who was physically trapped in their car was freed from the vehicle and put into the care of the ambulance service for treatment.
A spokesman for Sherborne Fire Station said: "One Crew alongside a crew from Yeovil Fire Station attended a two car Collision in Sherborne.
"On arrival one casualty was physically trapped due to their door unable to open.
"Using small tools and a hydraulic spreader crews removed a door and the casualty was extricated and into the care of South Western Ambulance Service, for small lacerations and bruising."
