DETECTIVES have issued new images of men they would like to identify in relation to the distraction theft of an expensive designer watch.

Police launched an investigation over the incident which took place in Bath Road, Bournemouth, on the afternoon of Sunday, August 28.

At around 2.30pm the victim, a man aged in his 60s, was walking into an address when two men approached.

One man spoke to him, causing a distraction, while the other removed the victim’s watch from his wrist.

They were then seen running off in the direction of the Esso petrol station in Bath Road.

The watch that was stolen was a high value Patek Philippe watch.

Detective Constable Ian Caddy, of Dorset Police’s Priority Crime Team, said: “From our investigation so far, we have also identified a third individual who we believed was involved, who appears to be following the victim prior to the incident.

“We have now obtained further CCTV images of all three men that we would like to identify, and I am releasing them in the hope that someone might recognise them.”
