A WOMAN became trapped after a two-vehicle crash in a busy road in Bournemouth on Tuesday morning.
Police, ambulance and the fire service attended the incident in Castle Lane West.
Firefighters helped to free the woman following the incident.
There were no reports of serious injuries.
A Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 10.27am this morning about a road traffic collision on Castle Lane West, Bournemouth.
“Crews from Redhill Park and Springbourne attended the incident which involved two vehicles.
"Firefighters released a driver by repositioning one of the cars – our stop came at 10.52am.”
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.23am to a report of a two vehicle collision on Castle Lane West in Bournemouth.
“It was reported that the road was blocked and a woman was trapped in one of the vehicles.
“Officers have attended, along with the fire and ambulance services.”
