THUNDERSTORMS could cause disruption across Dorset on Monday afternoon and night.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms across most of the south coast.
The alert, covering Bournemouth and the surrounding areas, comes into place from 2pm this afternoon, and will remain in place until 2am tomorrow morning.
Some locations may see torrential rain with 20-30 mm falling in one hour and 50-80 mm in 3 hours.
People could also expect frequent lightning, hail and gusty winds- particularly throughout the evening- and possible delays to train services.
