A HIGH turnover convenience store and off licence in Winton has been sold by business agents, Christie and Co.
The Grape Vine is located on Ripon Road in a densely populated suburban area and comprises a large double fronted shop occupying a purpose-built semi-detached property.
The ground floor retail area measures approximately 900 sq ft, with a storage area and is fully fitted with a comprehensive range of gondolas, shelving, freezers and chillers.
There are two well-proportioned one-bedroom flats on the first floor, which share an external paved courtyard area.
Adam Darbyshire, from Christie and Co's who handled the sale, commented: "The business is predominantly that of a traditional off licence and convenience store, offering a comprehensive range of wines, beers, lagers and spirits, while also offering a wide selection of convenience and general groceries.
"It has now been sold to an experienced operator, Nearby Stores, which has a number of similar businesses throughout the south west.
"The vendor is now looking forward to a well-earned rest!"
An asking price of £665,000 plus shares and assets valuation was sought for the freehold interest of the Grape Vine and it was sold for an undisclosed sum.
