CHICO the golden retriever is among a number of animals looking for their forever homes this week.

Dorset-based animal rescue centre Margaret Green is looking to find permanent homes for dogs, cats, rabbits and chickens.

Can you help? All the details are below.

Bournemouth Echo: ChicoChico

Chico is an eight-year-old, male Golden Retriever. He is a very sweet boy who loves going for walks and playing with his toys. He currently has a few health issues which include his ears, skin and a lump which is being assessed, so treatment may need to be continued by his new family. He would be able to live with other dogs, possibly cats and older children.

Bournemouth Echo: WhitneyWhitney (Image: UGC)

Whitney is a sweet, two-year-old, female Lurcher who loves to have a fuss made of her. She is very playful and loves to do zoomies when she gets excited! She could live with other dogs, as long as they meet first and get along. She could also live with older children, but she would prefer not to live with cats.

Bournemouth Echo: SnootSnoot

Snoot is a three-year-old German Shepherd cross. At first, he can be a little nervous but with some time and patience, he will soon become your friend. He enjoys going for walks and meeting other four-legged friends. He is looking for a family who can continue his training, as he can be strong on the lead. He would prefer to be the only pet, but he could possibly live with teenagers.

Bournemouth Echo: Sprite, Pepsi and ColaSprite, Pepsi and Cola

Sprite is looking for a new home with his friends, Pepsi and Cola. They are a lovely trio of one cockerel and two hens, who would like to be rehomed together. They are five-months-old and they still have a little bit of growing to do.

Bournemouth Echo: EddieEddie

Eddie is a 15-year-old, handsome chap. He loves a fuss and he is looking for a home where he can lap up all of the attention he truly deserves. In his forever home, he would like to be the only pet but he could possibly live with older children, as long as they get approval from Eddie first!

Bournemouth Echo: Pixie and BoPixie and Bo

Pixie and Bo are two female Lop rabbits who are looking for their forever home together. Pixie is nearly four-years-old and her daughter, Bo, is around two-years-old. They are friendly girls who love to hop around and explore. They will sometimes sit on your feet and they like an occasional stroke from their carers, although they prefer not to be picked up.
