THE Avon Causeway in Christchurch was closed following a three vehicle-crash.
Police officers and the ambulance service attended the incident, with officers closing the road in both directions.
There were reports of slow traffic on the roads near the Avon Causeway, including queuing traffic on the approach to Hurn Roundabout on the B3073 Parley Lane.
A Dorset Police spokesman said: "We received a report at 11.29am of a three-vehicle road traffic collision on the Avon Causeway near Christchurch.
"Officers attended, along with the ambulance service.
"One person was treated for an injury that was not believed to be serious. Road closures were put in place as recovery was arranged."
The road was reopened and police left the scene at around 1.15pm.
