Old postcard of Poole dated 1962 sent in by Martin Huse
THE wonderful old postcard pictured above was sent in by reader Martin Huse of Poole, post dated 1962 showing the highlights of Poole from 60 years ago.
Featuring a packed Poole Park lake with both swans and boats, along with the popular miniature railway, Poole Quay and the now demolished building on Poole High Street including the Dolphin Hotel.
