AN observation point has been installed giving people the opportunity to spot the recently reintroduced ospreys.
Charity Birds of Poole Harbour recently completed a successful reintroduction programme, bringing ospreys back to the area for the first time in two centuries.

And now BCP Council as worked with the charity, as well as Haven, to create an observation point for the public.
A BCP Council spokesperson said: “We've partnered the Birds of Poole Harbour Charity and Haven to create an Osprey Observation Point at Ham Common Nature Reserve.
“The new observation point will be open from this weekend - giving great views out across the Wareham channel where these birds can be observed hunting.
“Now is peak Osprey migration season with a number being seen, in what has already been an excellent year, following the first successful breeding in southern England for 200 years.
“In addition to Osprey, the new observation platform is also an excellent spot to see White-tailed Eagles, with several of these magnificent birds also present in the harbour.”
