MEMBERS of the public are being asked to help with a clean-up of Bournemouth Beach next month.
Local student Emily Traverse has organised a beach clean for Sunday, September 11 in aid of the Marine Conservation Society.
It will take place on Bournemouth beach between 10am and 11am and will finish with refreshments at the Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel.
Emily hopes the clean up will help to restore the beach after a busy summer.
She said: “Bournemouth Beach is the prime location to host a beach cleanup as there is always a guarantee of a large amount of waste to be collected and with the Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel situated on the cliff top, our guests can experience a well-deserved break after helping the Marine Conservation society meet its objectives.”
It is free to take part, but donations are welcomed on the day.
