SWANAGE Post Office is planning on relocating to a new location following the expiration of the current lease.
The postmaster has identified an opportunity to move the branch into a more centrally located premise in the town centre where it will continue to operate as a "main style" branch.
The new premises, at 25 Institute Road, Swanage, BH19 1BT, will be undergoing a refurbishment beforehand.
The Post Office will continue to offer the same products and services and the opening hours will remain as Monday to Friday: 9am – 5.30pm; Saturday: 9am – 1pm.
The current Post Office branch is scheduled to close on Wednesday 5 October at 5pm and it is scheduled to open at the new premises on Tuesday 11 October at 9am.
The opportunity to give feedback will close on 30 September. Customers can share their views during the consultation online at postofficeviews.co.uk with the branch code 164508.
