IF AS predicted we are about to face a Winter crisis in A&E can we return to our own GPs offering an out of hours service which used to work very well?
Also if we have bed blocking by non medical patients awaiting discharge into care environments then utilise Nightingale units manned if necessary by services medical corp, retired nurses and ambulance men, St Johns etc.
If this is a crisis treat it as such and stop simply relying on the end user not to use the service we are entitled to.
