Help to Grow: Management is delivered by Bournemouth University Business School with support from a government subsidy to help support business growth across the UK.

The Help To Grow: Management course, one of many delivered by leading UK business schools, includes 50 hours of in-depth training and one-to-one business mentoring to help businesses grow and innovate.

Aimed at senior leaders in small and medium businesses, the course covers strategies for growth and innovation, leading high-performance teams and digital adoption, as well as financial management and responsible business practices. As a result of the programme, attendees will develop a tailored business growth plan to increase productivity and grow revenue.

Bournemouth Echo:

The course is led by Dr Debbie Sadd who said, “At Bournemouth University Business School we want to support local business growth and to see our business sector continue to thrive. Dorset benefits hugely from a supportive business culture that has seen many new businesses start and grow, and we are delighted to play a small part in that by using our expertise to advance businesses in the region.”

Alex Ainsworth, Managing Director at Ecologic, participated in the last course and said, “One of the best aspects about this course for me has been the 1:1 mentoring time with a local business guru. His input has been transformation to our business and we look forward to his ongoing support. It is hard to commit the time, but without the course I simply would not been so fired up to make changes.”

Chris Witham, CEO at Swish of the Curtain, also participated in the course and said, “The most useful part of this course has been mentoring and networking opportunities. It's the diversity, perception and opinions of others that I found so valuable.”

Sanjeev Verma, Chief Executive of SquireTechnologies said. “The programme was instrumental in touching base with the fundamentals, question the basics and revisit business objectives. The Faculty were knowledgeable and not only eager to share their experiences but also encourage the participants to do the same and learn from them.”

Max Storey, Managing Director at TREEKIT.com said, “The content covers a lot and I will be implementing changes documented in my Growth Action Plan for years to come. The opportunity to thrash the whole thing out with fellow business leaders and then build on ideas with a mentor was a unique and priceless experience.”
