The A352 is closed in both directions following a crash with a large emergency service presence in the area.
The road has been closed in Winfrith Newburgh, between Water Lane and Colehill Drive, since 1.10pm.
An air ambulance is at the scene and one witness, Jamie, said he saw "at least six police cars and three or four ambulances".

Another witness said: "I was just sat at the pub and next thing I a load of police cars went past and there's road closures in place. People are having to turn around and go in the other direction."
It is reported that two cars are involved in the crash.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "Officers are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision on the A352 at Winfrith Newburgh.
"The road is closed and we would ask motorists to please seek alternative routes. Thank you for your patience while the closure is in place."
A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 12.33hrs to a road traffic collision in the Winfrith Newburgh area.
"We sent three double-crewed land ambulances, an operations officer and an air ambulance. We are currently conveying one patient by land ambulance to Dorset County Hospital. We remain on scene at the time of writing”.
Traffic is slow moving in approaching areas.
