POLICE are searching for a missing man believed to be in Poole and have released an image of his van as part of an appeal to find him.

Dorset Police received a report raising concern for the welfare of Christoph Nutz, 32, at around 9.30pm on Wednesday, August 10.

Enquiries indicate he was believed to have been in Maxwell Road in the Canford Cliffs area.

Christoph is a German national and is travelling in an Iveco van with the registration number OA NC777.

It is described as similar to an ambulance and yellow with a turquoise bonnet, as well as a turquoise wind deflector above the windscreen.

Inspector Mark Holmes, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand Cristoph was upset when he last in contact with family in Germany and we are keen to locate him to ensure he is safe and well.

“As part of our ongoing enquiries, I am issuing an image of the vehicle Christoph is believed to be travelling in as it is very distinctive and I would urge anyone who has seen it locally in recent days to please get in touch.

“Finally, if you see this appeal Christoph, please contact us or your family as we all just want to make sure you are OK.”
