A LANE on the A31 was closed causing heavy delays after three vehicles were involved in a collision on Thursday.
Three vehicles crashed on the A31 eastbound from Picket Post Services to Stoney Cross and a six mile queue formed as motorists were restricted to one lane.

People were delayed for more than 45 minutes.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “We were called at 4.36pm to a report of a collision involving three vehicles on the A31. The second lane has been blocked.”
A vehicle also broke down within the queues.
