A ROAD was closed for more than an hour as emergency services dealt with a crash which left a car on its side in the middle of the road.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the B3078 Cranborne Road in east Dorset shortly before 8pm on Wednesday evening.
Officers closed the road in response to the crash between Horton Inn and Witchampton, with motorists asked to avoid the area.
A Dorset Police spokesman said: “We received a report at 7.59pm of a road traffic collision involving a single vehicle on Cranborne Road near to the Horton Inn at Horton. It was reported that the vehicle was on its side.
“Officers attended, along with the ambulance service, and road closures were put in place.
“A man was treated by the ambulance for a shoulder injury, the vehicle was recovered and the road reopened at around 9.30pm.”
