Police outside Weymouth Pavilion
Police and the ambulance services have rushed to Weymouth seafront.
There is a major emergency services presence at the Pavilion.
At least six police cars, two police vans and an ambulance are currently at the scene.
Dorset Police say they were called just before 2pm to reports of an assault in the area of Weymouth Pavilion, however, their enquiries are in the early stages.
Witnesses say there is a large crowd near the scene and officers are speaking to bystanders.
