POLICE have appealed for the public's help to find a woman who has gone missing from Bournemouth.

Officers have been carrying out extensive searches for 40-year-old Janel Hobley.

Dorset Police received a report at around 3pm on Tuesday, August 9, raising concern for her welfare.

She is described as white, five feet four inches tall, of medium build and with dyed red/grey hair that is always worn in a bun. She was wearing a short pink dress.

Inspector Tracy Santoni, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand Janel has been very upset recently and we are concerned for her welfare. We are carrying out extensive searches of the area as we are keen to find her and make sure that she is OK.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding Janel’s whereabouts, or who sees a woman matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.

“Finally, I would like to appeal directly to Janel if you see this – please make contact with us or your family and let us know where you are as we all just want to check that you are all right.”
