A YOUTUBER visited a popular hotel in Bournemouth and vlogged his one-night stay – but was left disgusted by the “grubby bathroom floor”, “blood-stained pillows” and “damp smell”.

YouTuber ‘Walk With Me Tim’, who boasts more than 100,000 subscribers, stayed for one night at the Royal Bath Hotel in Bath Road, Bournemouth.

As part of his Worst Rated Hotels series, Tim booked a room with no window in July and filmed what he saw.

He was left visibly disgusted by the “damp smell” in his room, which was upgraded with a window after, what Tim suspects, staff recognised him.

Tim also found stained bedding with blood stains on the pillow, mould on the bath in a “dirty” bathroom, a “grubby floor” which he “wouldn’t want to walk on with no shoes” as well as the smell of “stale cigarette smoke” in the corridors.

The YouTuber also complained of the lack of air conditioning in the hotel, with him left feeling “hot” throughout his stay.

He added the hotel gives him “horror vibes” with its “freaky wallpaper” and “spooky corridors”.

Summarising, Tim said in the video: “The bed could move apart at any moment, especially if I got into the middle of it. They might as well have given me a single bed.

“The bathroom on the face of it was ok. Yes, it smells of mould and there was mould in there as well. Nice touch, though on the toilet tissue [which was folded over at the tip].

“The rest of the hotel is absolutely amazing. I don’t understand the theme of it, but incredible rooms here if you want to get married.

“You can almost feel that this was a really posh hotel but it’s lost its way quite a bit.”

The 184-year-old hotel, widely regarded as Bournemouth’s most famous hotel as it overlooks Bournemouth pier, was bought by Britannia Hotels in 2012.

The Daily Echo contacted Britannia Hotels and the Royal Bath Hotel directly for a comment.
