Police are on the scene and the force helicopter is up following an incident in West Howe. 

Officers are understood to be on the scene in the Moore Avenue and Poole Lane part of the area. 

Residents have reported hearing a loud bang and it is believed a car has been involved in a collision. 

Buses have been diverted while the incident continues. 

A spokesperson for MoreBus said: "5/5a/14 will divert due to Police Activity, whilst we are unable to enter the area. All services will use the length of Kinson Road in Both directions missing all stops from Moore Ave to Kinson Road 5/5a/14 Respectively. We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
