A MAN suffered serious injuries following a crash involving a motorbike and a car in the New Forest.
Emergency services were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A338 Ringwood Road, near the New Forest Water Park.
The road was closed in both directions while the incident was dealt with. There were reports of delays on the A338 as well as through North Gorley and South Gorley as traffic was during the road closure.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: "We were called out at 12.42pm today following reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A338 near Ringwood between a motorbike and a car.
"A man in his 20s suffered serious injuries, albeit not deemed life-threatening or life-changing – while a woman in her 60s received minor injuries.
"Road closures were put in place in both directions whilst emergency services were on scene. The road has since been re-opened."
