EXCITEMENT is building as the Lionesses prepare to face Germany in the Euros 2022 final this weekend.

England will take on Germany on Sunday afternoon, as the Lionesses fight to get their hands on major silverware for the first time in their history.

BCP Council have confirmed they will host no public screenings of the match, but a number of pubs and venues across Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole are set to open their doors for the 5pm kick-off. 

The Daily Echo have put together a ‘where to watch’ guide so that you don’t miss the action:

Walkabout, Bournemouth

The self-proclaimed ‘home of live sport’ will be showing Sunday’s football. The match will be shown across multiple screens, and with live commentary. There is of course a great food menu on offer until 9pm.

Staff have advised there is no need to book any tickets, but tables can be reserved at https://www.walkaboutbars.co.uk/bournemouth.

The George Tapps, Bournemouth

The George Tapps is another to be showing Sunday’s final. The venue is home to more than 14 screens and claims to have ‘the best atmosphere’ on match days.

O’Neill's, Bournemouth

O’Neill's will also be showing the final on Sunday. The Bournemouth venue is a popular spot for live sport, with televisions available throughout the pub and its beer garden. Visitors can also choose from a hearty food and drink menu.

Jolly Sailor, Poole

Poole Quay’s Jolly Sailor will be showing the match on Sunday, and allows visitors to enjoy the action from a waterside location.

Ye Olde George Inn, Christchurch

Ye Olde George Inn has said it is the 'best pub showing football in Christchurch', and will welcome visitors in to enjoy Sunday's final. They are also offering pre-order drink packages to minimise trips to the bar.
