THE UK’s smallest cinema will be hosting a tribute day for well-loved actor Bernard Cribbins.
The Colosseum Cinema in Westbourne are set to host free showings of Bernard Cribbins films in light his passing this week.
Members of the public will be able to join the event from 12pm on Saturday.
Paul Whitehouse, owner of The Colosseum Cinema, said: “In our bar we shall raise a glass to him as thanks for the laughs.
"I met him once in London and he was thoroughly nice, funny and interested in our little cinema."
The running list will include Carry on Spying, Carry on Jack and The Railway Children, as well as the Wombles music and the hotel inspector’s episode of Fawlty Towers.
A full schedule is yet to be confirmed.
The Colosseum Cinema is located at 14 Westbourne Arcade in Westbourne, Bournemouth.
