TWO barns were involved in a blaze near Ringwood on Thursday afternoon.

Thirty five firefighters attended the barn fires at a farm on Dragon Lane, Bisterne yesterday afternoon.

Crews from Ringwood and Fordingbridge were called at 3.07pm and were joined by firefighters from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service to extinguish the fire involving two barns well alight.

The barns contained approximately 25 tonnes of straw, which fuelled the fire, but fortunately, no persons or animals were involved.
