A POPULAR clothing store at Castlepoint will be closed for five days next week.

Next will be shut between Monday, August 1 and Friday, August 5.

The temporary closure is due to the reconstruction of the walkway taking place at the shopping centre.

The store will reopen as usual on Saturday, August 6.

A post on the Castlepoint Shopping Park Facebook page said: “Please be aware that Next will be temporarily closed from 1st – 5th August due to walkways reconstruction works.

“Next will be reopening as usual on 6th August.”

Earlier this month, Robert Dyas and toy retailer The Entertainer were temporarily closed for seven days due to the walkway reconstruction with the Clarks store shut for five days at the end of June.

Major works to rebuild the Castlepoint car park have been taking place over the last few years.

The works, which started in 2018, entered the final phase in March this year when officials said the section outside Asda was the last area to be completed.
