POLICE have increased patrols in Poole following criminal damage and vandalism to buses.

Due to reports of vandalism to buses in the Rossmore and Alderney area, the Poole Neighbourhood Policing Team has increased its presence in these locations to prevent further incident.

A spokesperson for Poole Police: “These high visibility patrols will continue whilst the investigation is underway to identify the persons responsible.

“We’ve been providing reassurance to local businesses and bus drivers from Morebus on our patrols – don’t be surprised to see us hopping on and off of buses and do stop us to chat.

“These incidents not only disrupt travel for commuters but pose risk to community safety and the cost in damages is considerable.
