A MAN arrested in connected with a reported sex assault in Bournemouth will face no further police action.
It was reported a woman aged in her 50s was sitting on the grass behind a footpath off East Overcliff Drive that leads to the beach when she was approached by a man at around 2.10pm on Sunday, June 12.
It is reported the man took his clothes off and sexually assaulted the victim.
A 29-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Following further enquiries by detectives from Bournemouth CID, he has been released from bail without charge and will face no further action.
“Detectives are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.”
