A FAMILY have been left "heartbroken" after their French Bull Dog puppy went missing from Bournemouth.

Police have launched an appeal to help locate Bully the French Bull Dog puppy after he went missing from a hotel in the East Cliff area on Thursday.

Officers Carl and Amelia from the Bournemouth South Neighbourhood Policing Team were alerted to the missing dog after coming across its owner in the Bournemouth Gardens.

In a Facebook post, PCSO Carl wrote: "Today myself and my colleague Amelia came across a gentleman called Duane in Bournemouth Gardens who informed us that his French Bull Dog puppy called Bully has gone missing from the hotel they have been staying at whilst visiting Bournemouth.

"Bully went missing on Thursday 7th July 2022 in the East Cliff area and sadly hasn't been located since.

"The family are heartbroken and there is a reward for Bully's safe return.

"If seen please can you contact Duane on 07932997860 or if you see me out in the town centre and have any information don't hesitate to come and tell me and I can pass this on.

"Like you all, I am very much a dog lover so I am keeping everything crossed for Bully to be reunited safely with his family."
