John Major
I HAVE no time for Boris Johnson, but I find it more than a little irritating when former PM John Major increasingly pontificates on Johnson’s performance as PM.
Major was one of the most ineffectual PMs of recent times.
The most memorable thing about his time in No. 10 was the revelation that (albeit before he took office) he had conducted a four-year-long affair with his parliamentary colleague Edwina Curry – while both were married.
