POLICE received reports a man had been seen with a knife in Bournemouth town centre.
Officers carried out a search after the incident reportedly occurred in the Lower Gardens on the afternoon of Thursday, July 7.
Dorset Police spokesperson said no further sightings were received.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “At 3.19pm on Thursday 7 July 2022, Dorset Police received reports that a man had been seen with a knife in the Lower Gardens, Bournemouth.
“Officers attended and searched the area and made enquiries, but no arrests were made.
“There were no reports of any injuries and no further reports of any sighting were received.”
