TWO pigs called Charlotte and Dougal are among animals looking for their forever homes in Dorset.

Animal rescue centre Margaret Green is hoping to find homes for the pigs along with dogs, cats and Guinea pigs.

Can you rehome any of these animals below?

Bournemouth Echo:

Noah is a two-year-old Lurcher. Since coming to the centre, he has slowly grown in confidence and he would love to find a family who can carry on with this. He likes playing off-lead with his trusted friends, but he also loves a cuddle with the staff here. He could live with older children in a rural area, as the only dog and without small furries.

Bournemouth Echo:

Chenoa is an eight-year-old Husky cross. She is overweight at the moment, so she is looking for a family who will help her lose weight. She also currently has pain in her hips and back which require pain relief. She enjoys being outside but she’ll need her exercise to be managed at the moment, to ensure she doesn’t overdo it and to prevent further damage. She enjoys being walked with her four-legged friends, but she would like to be the only dog in her new home.

Bournemouth Echo:

Duke is a four-year-old, ex-racing Greyhound. He is an excitable boy who is always ready for his next adventure. He loves being out and about, as there are so many interesting places to go and new things to sniff out. He’s looking for an adult-only home where he will be the only pet, so he can have all the cuddles to himself.

She is looking for a quiet, adult-only forever home, where she will be the only pet in the household.

Bournemouth Echo:

Charlotte and Dougal are three-years-old and they have been paired since they were young. Charlotte is an inquisitive and chatty pig, who loves having fuss and attention. Dougal can be shy to start with, but he soon warms up to people and he enjoys fuss too. They love to dip in the wallow in summer and do zoomies around the paddock! They are looking for a home with a draught-free bedroom and a large paddock.

Bournemouth Echo:

Sully is seven-months-old and he is a chatty boy. He has a long coat, so his new owners will need to give him regular trims. He came into the centre at a young with many other males. They didn't particularly get along, so he is looking for a forever home with one or more females. He will need a single-level home but he can use a cat flap, so a converted shed is a possibility.
